While the first season of Star Wars Rebels took until its final few episodes before it really found its voice – and its place within the mythos – the potential for the show is certainly there and the trailer for the second season looks like it’s going to ramp things up. Particularly if we get James Earl Jones coming in for some fight sequences s Darth Vader against our Jedi that are within the series. Check out the new three minute trailer below.
The series stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall.
Plot concept: Set five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the series follows a motley group of rebels (all of whom have been affected by the Galactic Empire in one form or another) that band together aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost. The series will also focus on the origins of some of the groups that will form the Rebel Alliance.
