New Anime DVD/BD Releases For April 7th, 2015

This release week is a pretty loaded and expensive one across the board, especially if you have a range of tastes and interests. The biggest thing this week is the debut of Pony Canyon US into the market with their first releases of the series Denki-Gai and Yuki Yuna is a Hero. They’ve got those rolling out to fans after a big splashy premiere at Sakura-con this past weekend where interest certainly ramped up. But they’re not the only ones releasing things this week as Aniplex has a new Durarara!! complete Blu-ray set and they’re also bringing out the three different editions of the final Madoka Magica movie.

FUNimation’s working their new stuff with the debut of Tokyo Ravens while bringing out One Piece with new episodes as well as another .hack series debuting and a classic with Blcak Butler. Sentai Filmworks is going simple with just the fantastic show She, the Ultimate Weapon while Nozomi Entertainment has a price-reduced Rose of Versailles set. Lucky Penny Entertainment has done some good work with the arrival at long last for Looking up at the Half Moon while Critical Mass Video drops F-Force and Night Shift Nurses: Clinical Confessions.
