‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’ Anime Gets Two New TV Spots

2 min read

Dungeon HeaderIs It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? debuted this weekend and it also got a license pickup from Sentai Filmworks, so we’ll be hearing about this title for some time to come. And rightly so, if reaction to the first episode is as on track as it seems to be. The folks at Warner Bros. Japan are getting a bit caught up on their web site of things and have now offered up two new TV spots for the premiere of the show, which may entice you to go check it out.

The anime adaptation of Fujino Omori’s light novel series is the first part of a slate of titles that will be planned for the GA Bunko imprint that it’s a part of. The new series will be directed by Yoshiki Yamakawa at JC Staff based on scripts and compsoition by Hideki Shirane and character designs by Shigeko Kimoto.

The series will star Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Bell Cranel, Inori Minase as Hestia, Saori Onishi as Eyes Warenstein, Maaya Uchida as Ririruka Ahde, Haruka Tomatsu as Eina Chūru and Shizuka Ishigami as Shiru Furova.

Plot concept: The huge labyrinth city, Orario, is the gateway to the huge underground maze commonly known as the “Dungeon”. Its strange name causes excitement, a place to gain honour, and maybe even a romance with a pretty girl. A place where people hold their breath, hoping to gain all they wish for, a place where a solitary young man meets a little “god”.
