2 min read

DeadpoolAfter spending most of April Fools day going on about how Deadpool was going to end up with a PG-13 rating, which wouldn’t be a surprise as the majority of the superhero films are, an interview piece with Ryan Reynolds about it as part of Extra where Mario Lopez talks about the importance of it being family friendly. It naturally goes the other direction as Deadpool shows up behind him, kills him, and makes a fun Saved by the Bell reference as we get our R-Rated Deadpool film.

The film is set for a February 12th, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller based on a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wrenick. It’s set to star Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano.

Plot concept: Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
