The spring 2015 debut of Plastic Memories is almost upon us, and now a new preview of the first episode has landed that shows off some new footage from the show. The series, which comes from animation studio Dogakobo, has been picked up for domestic release by Aniplex USA and they’ll be streaming it through their partners. The series is now set for an April 4th debut on Tokyo MX and four other regional stations and it’s getting more debuts on the 7th and the 8th in other regions as well, giving the show a fairly wide reach right away. The series is having its opening song performed Eri Sasaki while the ending song is being done by Asami Imai.

The series is an original creation between okiura of Infinite Stratos character designs and Steins Gate writer Naotaka Hayatashi. The series is being directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara with Chiaki Nakajima providing the character designs for it. Te animation is being produced at Dogakobo.
Plot concept: This story takes place in a future not too far away when androids that look exactly like humans begin to spread across the world. The android production company SA Corp. produced Giftia, a new kind of android that has the most amount of emotion and human-like qualities out of any other model ever seen. However, due to problems in technology, the androids have a service life, and once they pass that, they… Well, it gets pretty bad. For this reason, SA Corp. creates a terminal service in order to retrieve Giftia that have gone past their service life. A new employee at the terminal service named Tsukasa Mizugaki forms a team with the Giftia Isla to retrieve the other androids, but…
