With the announcement of the game for Chaos:Child back in November of last year, it was largely expected that this sequel to Chaos;Head would end up getting an anime adaptation as well. That’s now been confirmed this weekend through a 5pb event that the anime adaptation is indeed in the works for the game, which saw a Japanese release in December 2014 on the Xbox One. It’s coming to the PlayStation family of devices on June 25th of this year.
No details about the production have been revealed at this time.
The Chaos;Head anime has been previously licensed and release by FUNimation in North America.
Plot concept: Described as a “psychological suspense” story, ChäoS;Child takes place in October 2015, six years after the events of ChäoS;HEAd. Abnormal events begin to occur in the Shibuya district, including mysterious deaths.
