It’s a new week of releases and there’s definitely some interesting movements across the charts here. Unsurprisingly, Attack on Titan with its first compilation movie release sells pretty low overall between the two formats, and with demand on the wane until real new material hits, it’s to be expected. What is good to see is that the 7th volume of Free! Eternal Summer takes the top spot on the Blu-ray side with some solid competition from the latest Haikyuu!! release. Both of those are close to When Marnie Was There with its release, though it took the top spot on the DVD side aimed more at younger audiences. We also get the new Saki Blu-ray box set doing pretty well, coming in tenth on this chart with its high price point.
This week has a lot of ongoing volumes, but next week’s chart should see a lot of first volumes arriving from the winter season and those numbers will be real highlights.
