After picking up the rights to the .hack franchise back in the early summer of 2013, FUNimation set the home video release plans for the properties in 2015 back in October. Now that we’re getting closer to the release of the twelve episode series .hack//Legend of Twilight, FUNimation has brought out its first full trailer with the English language side to get fans interested in it.
The series is getting released on April 7th, 2015 for $39.98 where it’ll include the previously done bilingual version and include for extras an art reel and the clean opening and closing sequences.
Plot concept: .hack is more than just an anime. It’s a cultural phenomenon that transformed an entire generation’s view of the world. This wildly-successful franchise gave us all the chance to escape. Thanks to .hack, we no longer have to settle for being normal. We can delve into The World in search of adventure. We can run dungeons, collect treasure, and lose ourselves in virtual labyrinths.
