FUNimation Sets Big June 2015 Anime DVD/BD Solicitation Plans

FUNimation has a bit of a light month on May, but they’re making up for it big time on June with a big slate of new titles and re-releases that are definitely worth checking. Fans of Soul Eater in particular make out well here as the company has decided to make up for the lack of special packaging for one of their big properties by bringing out a Premium Edition release that will have:

• Soul Eater The Complete Series on Blu-ray (51 episode + 80 minutes of on-disc extras)
• A hard-bound Soul Eater “yearbook” featuring 64 pages of glossy, full-color art  (And yes, there are pages where you can have friends—or perhaps you favorite Soul Eater voice actors –sign)

This also comes out alongside Soul Eater Not!, which is getting a limited edition release. We’re also seeing LE releases for Nobunagun and Wanna be the Strongest in the World. Not getting LE’s but getting released in June will be Ping Pong The Animation and BlazBlue: Alter Memory, which are getting DVD/BD combo releases, and we get the DVD release of .hack//G.U. Trilogy. Additionally, the second half of Tokyo Ravens is set to debut.
