After starting back in 2012, the latest incarnation of this property surfaced based on the work from Baku Yumemakura and Mutsuki Munch with Onmyoji – Takiyoru Matahime. The series recently released its sixth volume in Japan from publisher Comic Ryu and they’ve put together a new promotional video for the series that has not seen an overseas pickup.
The story of Abe Seimei has been covered many times over the years and is a frequent work that’s revived and worked at again and again. There’s not a lot of detail out there about this series as Comic Ryu’s works are frequently not cataloged by many sites, but the promo shows off some great looking artwork that’s worth checking out for fans of this particular period and characters.
