FUNimation Acquires ‘Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Anime Feature Film

Dragon Ball Z Resurrection FComing as no surprise, FUNimation has picked up the rights to the upcoming theatrical anime film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ for release in North America. Set to arrive in Japan on April 18th, FUNimation will do the world premiere on April 11th, 2015 at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles. The company has picked up the theatrical, home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast rights to the work. The English language dub adaptation for the film will be getting a wider theatrical release this summer across North America.

Plot concept: Plot concept: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for ‘egg’) arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!
