A new week of sales data has arrived from Oricon in Japan and there’s definitely some interesting numbers to look at there. It’s little surprise that, this being a slow week, that the second installment of Tsukimonogatari took the top spot, nor is it that the Digimon Adventure set came in second on Blu-ray with the number of fans who have wanted that. When you dig further in though, there’s definitely some surprising numbers though with new debuts this week. Kamisama Kiss second season has debuted its first volume and it netted about 1200 copies between both DVD and Blu-ray, which is not a promising sign for a second season show. The debut of Saenai did fairly well all things told at about 6500 copies combined. There’s a lot of titles that are basically adding to their overall sales from previous weeks, notably with Stand By Me Doraemon, but the couple of debuts here are feeling kind of weaek overall.
