The folks at VAP brought out the artwork and packaging design for the third volume of Girl Friend BETA recently, which arrives on March 25th, 2015. Now they’ve gone the next step with a foru minute promo that highlights the six track character song CD that’s included in the release. The twelve episode series is getting a four volume release that began on January 21st, 2014 with new volumes monthly. The Blu-ray releases are priced at 6,800 yen each while the DVDs are at 5,800 yen each.
The bonus CD for this release comes with six songs from the characters and a special booklet while the one disc extras include the clean ending.
The series, based on the social media game Girlfriend (Kari) is directed by Naotak Hayashi based on scripts by Michiko Yokote. It’s being animtaed at SILVER LINK with Noriko Tsutsumiya handling the character designs being adapted from the game itself. The series stars:
Plot concept: Based on the social romance simulation smart phone game of the same name, Girl Friend BETA features a massive cast of girls, with the game featuring over one hundred girls for players to date, each one is voiced by a different voice actor! The anime will primarily follow the story of Kokomi Shiina.
