While details are still light, an array of new images have been released today from Kotobukiya for one of their upcoming statues. Kotobukiya continues to do some great stuff when it comes to their superhero lines for Marvel and DC Comics in giving them the bishoujo treatment, making me wish for some quality anime material to be done with it. After teasing some Lady Deadpool material for a statue coming our way in the future, the company has now added the second look images of what they’re doing with one of the more established Avengers with The Wasp as seven new images have been added today.
We still don’t have a release date or pricing yet though.
Otherwise known as Janet Van Dyne, the character goes back to Tales to Astonish #44 back in 1963 as she was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The character has been in a whole lot of series over the years in various teams and organizations and has had a variety of relationships as well to keep things moving along. She’s been seen outside of comics a few times in various animated TV incarnations both in the US and Japan as well as a few games as well.
