After several attempts at figuring out how to save the zoo, the newest one is that they’re going to participate in the Animal Festival where they can all perform and compete to win recognition for themselves and the zoo. But like any big performance, there’s a challenge as one of them, Yoppi, has found herself wounded and likely unable to perform. And that strikes them all with a sense of dread, but it also takes an expected comical turn as they basically tell her to sit it out since the rest of them want to win. The way they go through in expressing their own pain is pretty cute and shows the odd kind of unity this group has.
In Summary:
While we regularly get the “we’re all in this together” thing with idol groups, there’s also plenty of divisions along the way as well. This episode focuses on that with Yoppi on the out and everyone trying to sympathize a bit and show off their own pain they’re working through so they can get to the performance at the Animal Festival. It’s simple and cute and I definitely enjoyed the girls going down their list of problems and how they were all pretty much ready to pat her on the head and run off to the big fun event. Not one of the better episodes of the season, but still cute and silly.
