While there’s plenty of discussion about the costume and aesthetic with the upcoming Daredevil series, I have to admit what’s really selling me as it goes in is seeing more Charlie Cox in the role of Matt Murdock himself. With the debut of a new poster and motion version of it, it sells it even more for me, particularly with that slightly crooked smile on top of the other visual cues. The series will get its debut on Friday, April 10th, 2015 on the service where all thirteen episodes of the run will be available. The series debuts just under a month before the premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron and ahead of the July 17th debut of the Ant-Man film.
The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
Plot concept: Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
