‘Naruto’ Anime Begins AnimeLab Distribution

NarutoMadman Entertainment has now secured the rights to bring one of their long running series that they’ve got out on DVD to the streaming side of the Australia and New Zealand region with Naruto now beginning its run on AnimeLab. The company is bringing out the original series material so fans can revisit the older episodes easily and new fans can join in as well with it being presented in its original Japanese language form with English subtitles at

“One of the most popular franchises of all time, volume 1 of the NARUTO manga went on sale on March 3, 2000, and the latest and final volume 72 hit the stands on February 4, 2015. Total circulation of the entire NARUTO manga series in Japan has exceeded 130 million copies.”

The anime premiered on television in October 2002 and was succeeded by Naruto: Shippuden, which is still being broadcast in Japan.

Plot concept: Deep within the Hidden Leaf Village, sharp and cunning Ninja carry amazing talents and powers, and Naruto Uzumaki carries an amazing secret. Twelve years ago, the fourth Hokage sacrificed himself to save the village by sealing the Nine-tailed Fox Spirit inside this orphaned newborn. Now, this plucky prankster must do what it takes to achieve his life-long goal to become the next Hokage!
