When something is a fixture of most of your life in some form, the thought of it ending is inconceivable. Such is the case with the manga series Golgo 13, which comes from Takao Saito. Next weeks issue of Big Comic magazine has had a scan from it surface that indicates that the series is heading towards it conclusion at last, which comes as the series brings about its 550th chapter on February 25th, 2015 in the magazine.
The property, which has seen a theatrical anime film in the early 80’s, an OVA series and a TV series alongside to live action films from the 70’s, has been in publication since 1968 with the 175th volume having been released in December 2014.
Plot concept: For four decades, Golgo 13 has been the world’s greatest assassin for hire – sometimes to settle a private score, and sometimes to change history!
His real name and nationality are unknown – but his legend is everywhere. G13 never fails a job, and never sees his clients again…
…unless they try and betray him!
