For fans that are looking for manga series to check out when they start up but don’t want a huge twenty-plus volume commitment to it, we’ll be suggesting one title that comes out later this year from Viz Media with So Cute It Hurts!!. The gender bending 2012 series from Go Ikeyamada is originally known as Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!! anod now that the tenth volume of the release has landed, we’ve learned from it that the 11th volume is where the final arc will start, so there’s not much more left.
The series saw two OVAs created for it that were bundled with the third and sixth volumes of the manga back in the summer of 2013 and the spring of 2014. Originally serialized in Sh0-Comi and still ongoing, Viz Media is set to bring out the first volume on June 2nd, 2015 for $9.99 a volume.
Plot concept: The mixed twins – Kobayashi Mitsuru (male) and Kobayashi Megumu (female), who haven’t seriously fallen in love for someone and other who doesn’t know anything more than 2D world. A situation arises were Megumu and Mitsuru are forced to cross dress, and go to school? Mitsuru’s encouter with a cute girl in Megumu’s school and Megumu’s meeting with the guy she met earlier is actually in her brother’s school?? Will they find themselves and their first love??
