Originally announced as getting the green light back in April 2014, new details regarding the second season of Non Non Biyori have surfaced. We learned a couple of months ago in the Comic Alive magazine that the second season is getting the name of Non Non Biyori Repeat. The latest issue of the magazine from Media Factory is now revealing the staff for the series is returning and that nano.RIPE will be coming back for the music once again. The series is set to be directed by Shinya Kawamo based on the overall composition by Reiko Yoshida who will also be writing scripts alongside Fumihiko Shimo and Yuka Yamada. Mai Otsuka returns as the character design and the work will be produced at Silver Link.
The series is based on the manga by Atto that began in 2009 under Media Factory, which had its seventh compilation debut this summer.

Plot concept: The closest book store sells Jump every Wednesday, the video rental shop is ten stations down. Vegetables are left out for sale, and no one’s ever even see a lock on a house.
