The long gestating Deadpool film got the go ahead late last year with a release date and then the formal casting of Ryan Reynolds as the merc with the mouth. Now a little more has been revealed as filming will apparently be done at Vancouver’s North Shore Studios. The studio has been booked for two months with plans for it to begin filming in March 2015. With it expected to have a lower budget in general and not an expansive cast as we see in the X-Men films, it’s likely to go smoothly and quickly. It’s also expected that with filming set to start within two months, more casting will land in the coming weeks.
The film is set for a February 12th, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller based on a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wrenick. Ryan Reynolds is set to star.
