After bringing out these three series previously as they aired as simulcasts, FUNimation has now picked up additional rights for Date-A-Live IIDragonar Academy and NO-RIN. It’s not surprising to see them grab Date a Live II as they released the first season on home video last year to good results. The second season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD Combo in 2015. They also grabbed Dragonar Academy, which makes sense since it trended well for them, and ‘ll also be released on Blu-ray and DVD Combo in 2015. The listing of NO-RIN fits in with the style of shows they often get, but details are unavailable yet about when it’ll be released and what formats, though hopefully that information will come sooner rather than later.

Check out the first episodes of the series below if you missed them the first time around!

Dragonar Academy

Plot concept:  Ash Blake is nothing but a joke to his fellow students at Ansullivan Dragonar Academy. Sure, he’s got the sacred star brand that marks him as a future master of dragons, but he’s having more than a little trouble playing the part of a hero. At least until the day his dragon suddenly awakens, and his world changes forever. There’s just one slight problem: His dragon is actually a beautiful girl, and she’s determined to become the master – and make Ash the slave! Beautiful girls and high-flying action take center stage in this thrilling adventure.

Date a Live II

Plot concept: Gear up for a thrilling second season of the smash hit anime Date a Live! This epic new chapter picks up where last season ended and introduces some titillating new developments – like a stunning set of twin Sirens! Plot concept: The mood is right for falling in love with a superstar in the new series from the director of the Negima OVAs! Teenager Hata Kosaku is crushed when his favorite singing idol, Kusakabe Yuka, stuns the world by retiring from show business. Kosaku’s friends try to cheer him up, but nothing can chase away his gloomy mood until Yuka herself transfers into his class at Tamo Agriculture School!
