With Aniplex USA getting all excited about starting up the first season of Durarara!! X2 this coming weekend, they’re making sure fans can get a chance to check out the first season again, but in a bit of a different way. While the first series has seen release in a couple of home video forms and we’ve even seen it getting a broadcast in dub form, they’re now going to be streaming the entire series on both Crunchyroll and Hulu beginning on January 10th, 2015.

Plot concept: Ikebukuro, Tokyo takes center stage, where various young people have gathered, each with their own expectations. A high school student who longs for an un-ordinary life, the strongest man in Ikebukuro, an information broker, an underground doctor, a stalker, a “headless” rider, and many others both cause and get caught up in trouble. This is a story with a tangle of super-extraordinary characters; one where no one can predict what will happen next!
