New Anime DVD/BD Releases For January 6th, 2015

It’s hard to believe January is here and we’re kicking off a new year of anime DVD and Blu-ray releases. We’ve got a pretty good selection of titles this week too, when you get down to it. Aniplex USA has the next installment of Gurren Lagann out while NIS America steps up with The Eccentric Family. FUNimation keeps it simple with the third Fairy Tail collection bundling together two more sets. Sentai Filmworks goes for mostly new this week by bringing out Dog & Scissors in bilingual form and on Blu-ray – with some pretty appealing cover artwork, while also bringing out a complete collection of Qwaser of Stigmata, which gets a first time Blu-ray release. Sadly, still no dub. To round out their slate, they’ve also got the complete first season for Non Non Biyori, which goes sub-only but dual format for its home video debut.

On the hentai side, Critical Mass has a pair of re-releases with Beast City and Magic Woman M.
