FUNimation continues to beef up their winter 2015 anime simulcast season as they’ve now announced the acquisition of Handsome High School Earth Defense Club Love, which is going to be called Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! here. While we learned previously that the Japanese premiere date is January 6th, 2015, FUNimation’s simulcast is going to begin on January 13th, 2015. Exact times are to be coming soon.
The series is being directed by Shinji Takamatsu while Chizuru Miyawaki will be assisting and they’ll be working off of the series composition done by Michiko Yokote. Masakazu Ishikawa will be handling the character designs and the series will be produced at studio Diomedea.

But when a pink wombat appears out of thin air and begs the boys to help him save the planet, even the idlest high schoolers jump to action.
