We’re just a few days away from the two hour premiere of Agent Carter, which still seems hard to believe since it was a one-shot bit of fun on a previous home video release that has now grown to this work. Ahead of that, Marvel has put out a pretty fun little behind the scenes clip that lets us see some of the background aspects of it as Haylet Atwell talks about it while on set.
The series stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley. It’s executive produced by Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Jeph Loeb.
Series concept: It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life–Steve Rogers.
