MPD Psycho Volume 21Originally scheduled to end with this volume, the MPD-Psycho series got extended by one more volume recently in order to bring it all to a conclusion. With the release of the 21st volume on December 29th, 2014, Kadokawa has now put together a 70 second video look at the series from Eiji Otsuka. The series, which has been running since 1997, is done with Shou Tajima and has continually earned a lot of praise. Dark Horse comics began releasing the series last decade but ended their run with it after volume eleven due to low sales. Check out the new promo below from Kadokawa to see how they’re filling in folks on the newly released installment of the still ongoing series.

Series plot concept: Oolice detective Kobayashi Yousuke’s life is changed forever after a serial killer notices something “special” about him. That same killer mutilates Kobayashi’s wife and kick-starts a “multiple personality battle” within Kobayashi that pushes him into a complex tempest of interconnected deviants and evil forces.
