Dark Horse Comics and Dynamite Entertainment are coming together to kick off 2015 in a great way with a Conan & Red Sonja crossover event. The two companies are doing their own variations on it with Dark Horse doing the Conan side of it while Dynamite will do a Red Sonja & Conan miniseries as well. Dark Horse has put out a preview of the first few pages of their book, which lands on January 14th, 2015, and comes from writers Gail Simone and Jim Zub with artist Dan Panosian. With it having been fifteen years since these two characters interacted, it’s definitely one of those about time situations.
Plot concept: In a story spanning multiple eras in the lives of these classic characters, Conan and Red Sonja become comrades to take down a sorcerer-priest hell bent on creating a dark new age in Hyborian warfare!
