Warner Bros. has decided to go all in as we saw recently with the cast for Suicide Squad that they were putting together and now they’ve just added another layer that will definitely make it work even more. Viola Davis, who is currently starring in the TV series How to Get Away With Murder after appearing in several highly acclaimed films, is set to take on the role of Amanda Waller in David Fury’s film Suicide Squad. With the character of Waller being the harder than hard government agent in charge of the team, she’s the one that plays the real heavy in the film and should have some excellent scenes playing up against others that have been cast so far.
Announced for an August 5th, 2016 released, Suicide Squad is being helmed by Fury director David Ayer. The film is set to star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
Plot concept: A group of supervillains are brought together to tackle high-risk black ops missions for the government.
