This past January saw the theatrical debut of the Wake Up, Girls! feature alongside the debut of the TV series, which was a fairly new idea, and it worked well enough that the team came back to do a fun short-form show as well later in the year. Now Avex Pictures has announced through a new trailer that you can see below that a second feature has been given the green light and will debut in 2015. The staff from the first film is set to return here with Yutaka Yamamoto directing it at studio Ordet based on the script by Touko Machida. Chikaoka Sunao is set to reprise their role as both character designer and animation director.
