‘selector infected WIXOSS’ Anime Season Begins YouTube Distribution

For those looking for additional places and ways to watch anime for free, FUNimation has now added the entire twelve episode run of selector infected WIXOSS to their YouTube channel. The series aired this past spring and was simulcast on the FUNimation site for North American audiences as well as Hulu. It’s now getting its run with all the episodes of the season in its original Japanese language form with English subtitles. The second season of the series is currently streaming on Friday’s on their EVS service and a week later for everyone as well as Hulu.

The series is animated by JC Staff is bringing with Takuya Sato directing based on scripts by Mari Okada and character designs by Kyuta Sakai. There’s a couple of hands from Steins; Gate in here and you can definitely see a touch of influence there.

Plot concept: In the popular game WIXOSS, there are special cards called LRIGs—cards that possess wills of their own. Ruko is a teenage girl who just found one of these rare cards. If she wins with her LRIG, her wishes will be granted—but what happens if she loses?
