It may have been done and over with for thirteen years, but Yuzo Takada is coming back with a sequel series for 3×3 Eyes in Young Magazine Kaizokuban, the webcomic label for Every Star. The series is one of several new titles kicking off in the coming weeks as the relaunch of the magazine that ended back in 1995 after ten years of publication.

The original manga series ran between 1987 and 2002 in Young Magazine Monthly for a whopping 576 chapters and forty volumes total for Yuzo Takada. Dark Horse Comics released the series domestically in their Super Manga Blast! magazine as well as standalone volumes back in 2005 to 2004, but they suffered from edits and the series was dropped after the eighth volume. Two OVA series were produced back in 1991 and 1995 which were initially released by Streamline and then given new life by Geneon Entertainment.

Plot concept: 3X3 Eyes is the story of a young man named Yakumo Fuuji, who through a strange series of events becomes the immortal slave of the last of a race of 3 Eyed immortals. The immortal absorbs his soul to save his life, making him immortal in the process. Now, he begins a journey with the female immortal in an attempt to find a way of becoming human. Of course, there are many complications along the way, not the least of which being that the immortal is a female with a split personality, one achingly cute and the other being no-nonsense destructive power, and the romances that develop between.
