Announced in early October, Bandai Visual Japan is following a familiar path when it comes to this franchise as the Gundam Build Fighters Try season is being done in half season box set form. Now that we’re just a few weeks away from the first releases, they’ve dropped the first TV spot for it. The show is getting a series of single DVD volumes for it that begin on December 25th, 2014 for 2,800 yen each as it runs through the first 13 episodes of the series. In addition to that, we’re getting a regular and limited edition Blu-ray box set of the first 13 episodes. Those sets, priced at 25,000 yen and 30,000 yen respectively, are set to land on March 27th, 2015. Extras for the set are currently planned for a booklet, the clean opening and closing as well as the promotional video and commercial collection. There will also be an audio commentary track, though it’s not specified for what length.
Shinya Watada is directing the series at Sunrise based on story composition by Yosuke Kuroda and character design by Kenichi Onuki. Mecha design, of which there is a lot, is being handled by Kunio Okawara, Junya Ishigaki, Susumu Imaishi, Kanetake Ebikawa, Shinya Terashima and NAOKI. The series stars Kazumi Togashi as Kamiki Sekai, Yuuma Uchida as Kousaka Yuuma, Yui Makino as Hoshino Fumina and Aya Endo as Kamiki Mirai.
