As we get closer to the new release of the 1992 – 1993 Sunrise anime series Genki Bakuhatsu Ganbaruger, NBC Universal Japan is showing off more of the set to get fans excited. We previosuly got a look at the comparison between this new set and the previous DVD edition and now they’ve got a new promotional TV spot out there to catch the attention of the fans who have grown up and want to own it now.

The release is set for a December 26th, 2014 debut priced at 47,000 yen. There’s definitely a lot better color quality here with this release and that alone can make this a hugely tempting release for fans to get their favorite show looking like it never did before, even during broadcast. The series, which translates as Energetic Bomb Ganbaruger, ran for 47 episodes when it first aired and was directed by Toshifumi Kawase, who has been involved in a number of Higurashi series and also directed the Tenjou Tenge series among others.

Plot concept: Koutarou’s father is trying to train his son in the art of the ninja, but a mis-hit bomb accidently damages a shrine and releases a great demon that Eldoran had been keeping contained. Eldoran manages to contain him, but one of his servants manages to escape as well, and now attempts to free his master. To stop him, Eldoran grants the three mecha Gotiger, King Elephan, and Mach Eagle to Koutarou and his two friends, as well as suits that grant each of them a special power. Miracle Ninja Ganbare Team is born!
