1 min read

Captain America - Civil WarAfter getting the title for the third film a couple of weeks ago, Captain America: Civil War has now announced its first new actor since that event. The latest nugget comes from Marvel directly with the addition of Daniel Bruhl to the cast to take on the role of an unspecified villain.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced it, saying, “With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes.”

With that nod, Variety added their voice to teh game in noting that Bruhl is potentially set to be the top villain in the Doctor Strange movie as well.

Set to land on May 6th, 2016, the film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It will star Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron man, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Daniel Bruhl. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have returned to write the film and director of photography Trent Opaloch and composer Henry Jackman are returning as well.
