With One Piece having aired episode 669 this weekend, it’s really hard to believe that this show has held out as long as it has in some ways and finds so many things to do as it adapts Eiichiro Oda’s manga. As part of the 15th anniversary that’s going on this year for the anime series itself, Avex Pictures, who distributes the home video releases for the property, has put together a nearly thirty minute promotional/celebration video for it. What it focuses on aren’t just battles in particular but rather what they list as the fifteen famous scenes, some of which deal with great character moments and formative material.
The series is simulcast in North America through FUNimation and Crunchyroll while the manga is distributed by Viz Media.
