It’s not too long until this very fun fanservice and story heavy series comes out and FUNimation is putting us in the right frame of mind with a look at the High School DxD New ending sequence. Added to their YouTube channel, you can tell they can do only so much with it due to music rights as it’s not subtitled and their information box on it doesn’t even list the singers or the name of the song. The video is also age restricted since it has sexy-time goodness in it.
The show is getting a DVD/BD release on November 11th, 2014. The series is getting a pretty solid release that mirrors what we saw with the first season (and hopefully what we’ll see with the eventual third season) as it’s dual format, bilingual and chock full of extras beyond the twelve episode run that it has. Price at $69.98 for the limited edition, the set includes as extras the Textless Opening Song “Sympathy”, Textless Opening Song “Gekijouron” (Passionate Theory), Textless Closing Song “Houteishiki wa Kotaenai” (I Can’t Solve the Equation), Textless Closing Song “Raburii Debiru” (Lovely Devils), U.S. Trailer, High School DxD New Broadcast Commemoration Special: Yoko Hikasa’s Voice Acting High School, New Material from Ichiei Ishibumi! Fantasy Full-blast Gentleman’s Disc Club Promos – New!, Commercials and Promo Videos.
Plot concept: Issei Hyodo is back with all of his voluptuous friends only this time he has more power than ever before. With the Excalibur swords and the Archangel Michael joining him in battle against the deadliest of foes yet, only time will tell if the Occult Research Club continues to thrive or if new leadership is needed to usher in a new magical era.
