I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying Episode 3
In which we see how to set your brother up with another man.

What They Say:
Kaoru is an OL you can find anywhere, serious and works diligently, but her husband is a super otaku and more-or-less a NEET. She is caught up in one of her husband’s whims one day or the subject of his concerns another, but the two are so close that it’s embarrassing to even watch them!

With Karou’s brother-in-law visiting, things certainly took an amusing turn, especially since he looks so much like a girl that it can get confusing. What we learn about him though is that he is pretty much like her husband in what he’s interested in and the way it keeps him from really having friends. He does talk positively about the fact that he has a wife though and that’s all he needs, which both delights and frightens Kaoru in a way. Following the two siblings as they go about things, including a meeting, we see how Mayotama will even play up his gender side to get in close with others. Mayotama is an odd one in general in that he’s hard to pin down in personality and purpose in a way, but watching him interact with others is amusing, especially the more perverted side he keeps trying to play up with his brother.

In Summary:
The show is a bit lighter in the humor department this time around as it focuses more on Mayotama, but it still has its moments. He’s a bit of an unusual type in some ways and you can see why Kaoru gets kind of wary of him in a way with how he acts, particularly when it comes to his brother. Seeing the two brothers out at a get together with “friends” certainly is comical, especially since he takes on the role of a girl to get close to one of his brother’s friends that he really likes. There’s a playfulness about it all that works well, though his brother certainly makes it clear he’s getting a bit of revenge in a way.
