We’ve got a bit of a wait ahead of us, but things are looking good for the OAD for Hozuki no Reitetsu that follows up the TV series this past winter, which was licensed by Sentai Filmworks. Announced earlier this summer that they were coming back for another round of it in the form of a manga bundled OAD release, a second promotional spot has landed that’s called the “autumn version” teaser.  The series, which comes from Natsumi Eguchi that began in 2011 in Morning 2, has gotten the green light for three original episodes to be produced that will be tied to the 17th, 18th and 19th compilations. Those releases are scheduled for February 23rd, May 22nd and August 21st of 2015. And like a number of other OAD episodes are getting for treatment lately, it’ll get a brief theatrical run in 11 theaters in December. Ahead of that, the first 15 second spot has landed that gives us a little taste of that first installment.

The releases will be bringing back the team that includes Hiro Kaburaki as the direction, Norihiro Naganuma as the assistant director, who will be working off of the scripts by Midori Gotou. Hirotaka Kato returns as the character designer and chief animation director with the work being produced at Wit Studio once again.

Series concept: Hozuki is the aide to the Great King Enma. Calm and super-sadistic, Hozuki tries to resolve the various problems in Hell, including a rampaging Momotaro and his companions. However, he also likes spending his free time on his hobbies, such as fawning over cute animals and raising ‘Goldfish Flowers.’
