Like a lot of the anime series based on games, we don’t usually get a lot of home video release information up front as they want to see what the response is and whether fans of the game will flock to it. With Majin Bone, Toei has now set up those releases with plans to bring it out in a series of collections. Each collection looks to have about twelve episodes on it and four collections were solicited at first, which makes sense as the series is ongoing and likely planned for fifty episodes, but the third and fourth collections were removed from Amazon Japan’s site.
The Blu-ray collections will be priced at 21,384 yen each while the DVD releases are priced at 18,792 yen. The first collection is set for February 13th, 2015 while the second is set for April 8th, 2015.
Plot concept: Majin, the creator of the Universe, has been resurrected in the present day. Shougo Ryuujin, an ordinary high school student who transforms into the Bone Fighter Dragonbone with the Bone Card in order to save Earth. Together, with the other White Bone warriors take a stand against the Dark Bone, a foe that has appeared from darkness to devastate Earth. However, “could the true enemy be ourselves?”
