While the digital version of X-Men: Days of Future Past is now available, there’s a big push for the home video release that’s due out on October 14th, 2014. To help promote it, Fox is sliding out some of the mini featurettes about the film with what they do with the first one focuses on the very much talked about Quicksilver scene and how it was put together. The release will be coming in the usual couple of versions, with DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray in the works, which will have an array of special features to be had with it:

Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry.

Plot concept: The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.
