FUNimation has Free! Eternal Summer producer Masayuki Nishide at Anime Expo this year and they’re putting together a couple of aspects of the panel that happened there with a focus on that particular series. The first clip has gone live with him having a bit of fun with fans as he’s asked what brought him to help produce such a series for Kyoto Animation.
Series concept: The boys of summer are back! Haru, Makoto, Nagisa, Rei, and Rin are reunited for a second season in Free! Eternal Summer. After the last swimming meet, the bonds of friendship have only gotten stronger, and with each passing day these boys continue to grow. This season brings new rivals and new challenges.
