Strange Plus Season 2 Episode 10
Kidnapping ahoy!

What They Say:
Kou comes to a certain city, in search of his older brother Takumi, who ran away from home and disappeared. Thinking it’d be rather difficult to find his older brother, Kou decides not to go back until he finds him… but he ends up finding him immediately. However, when Kou is reunited with Takumi, he had become the head of the Mikuni Detective Agency. Takumi appears to have no intentions to go back home. Kou then decides that if his older brother isn’t going to come home, he’s going to stay at the Mikuni Detective Agency.

The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
If someone kidnapped Takumi, would anyone really care? Okay, that may be a bit cruel, but we get that at the start here as Takumi gets kidnapped and Nana sees it and leaps into action while rounding up the group to help. Of course, it’s not actually Takumi since he’s building fake Gundam kits, but they all go to help anyway. It turns out that it’s someone that looks a lot like him and they decide they should try and help her. It’s a predictable gag in that she’s the granddaughter of a company president that the bad guys are trying to get a ransom for. Swapping her out for Takumi takes the show in some terribly hilarious and awful directions though, especially the whole boobies gag that feels like it hurt my brain inside somewhere.

In Summary:
The gags are standard here but there’s a more relaxed aspect to it at times and the plot is actually straightforward and makes sense. There’s some cuteness to it and I like the way the team leaps into action stupidly and them just goes all weird in how Takumi tries to save the day. It’s one of the better episodes of the series, though that’s admittedly saying only so much when you get down to it.
