The Anime Network is bringing out some classic titles on their service today to help you into your Friday with the arrival of the two part OVA series Time Bokan: Royal Revival. The show is one that Sentai Filmworks released this past February after rescuing the license from the old ADV Films catalog and they gave it both a DVD and Blu-ray release. It’s also one that was previously dubbed, so its run on The Anime Network is also bilingual, making it something worth checking out for those with an affection or curiosity towards much older shows.

Plot concept: In a race between these born losers, the only winner is the audience as the villains from Time Bokan, Yatterman, Zenderman, Otasukeman, Yattodetaman, Ippatsuman and Itadakiman compete for the dubious privilege of getting the lights beaten out of them once again! It’s Grand Theft Mecha Vs. Super Moron Kart as the baddies slam, bash and dirty trick each other to the finish in TIME BOKAN: ROYAL REVIVAL!
