‘.hack//SIGN’ Anime Begins Hulu Distribution

Hack SignFUNimation is starting to make its moves when it comes to their license rescue of the old Bandai Entertainment series .hack//SIGN as the twenty-five episode series is now streaming on Hulu. The series as a whole is on there now in its original Japanese language form with English language subtitles and those with a Hulu Plus subscription can watch this show on their TV and mobile devices. The series originally aired in 2002 and was animated by Bee Train as a connecting property to the game series. The show was origianlly licensed by Bandai Entertainment and it got a strong recurring broadcast on Cartoon Network over the years. FUNimation acquired the series along with several other Bandai Entertainment titles with plans to bring them out once again.

Plot concept: Tsukasa wakes up inside The World, a massive online role-playing game full of magic and monsters, and finds himself unable to log out. How did he end up stuck in this digital realm, and what, exactly, is going on in the real world?
