After announcing a slew of characters and actors recently, things kept moving on with the anime adaptation of the upcoming series Girl Friend BETA. With the extensive cast that it has, the show’s official Twitter account has been announcing a new one each day for a good part of the summer. now that they’ve finished the August 26th through September 2nd batch, ANN has pulled it all together since it’s a heck of a lot easier checking it out this way than a new announcement per day. The show is now scheduled to make its debut on October 12th, 2014 on TV Tokyo and is scheduled on several other broadcasts as well. A special program for the show will air a week earlier on October 5th to promote it.
The series, based on the social media game Girlfriend (Kari) is directed by Naotak Hayashi based on scripts by Michiko Yokote. It’s being animtaed at SILVER LINK with Noriko Tsutsumiya handling the character designs being adapted from the game itself.
