Steve Niles is back with Criminal Macabre with a new miniseries called The Third Child, which launches on September 17th, 2014. The new series, which picks up from the events of The Eyes of Frankenstein, is illustrated by Christopher Mitten and released by Dark Horse Comics. They’ve put together a new multi-page preview, with dialogue from the book as opposed to just the art, for folks to check out. The miniseries is priced at $3.99 an issues and Justin Erickson is providing the covers for it.
Plot concept: Cal’s changed . . . and maybe not for the better. Locked away and drowning himself with booze and aspirin, Cal feels the evil consuming him. Will he be able to withstand its pull or will he become the monster war’s greatest weapon of destruction?
