Hellsing Ultimate 9-10

After the issues surrounding the bonus OVAs with Senran Kagura, fans inquired on FUNimation’s Facebook page as to whether the upcoming release of Hellsing Ultimate containing episodes nine and ten would include the second and third specials The Dawn. Unfortunately, FUNimation did look into it and confirmed that they were not able to secure the rights for these from the licensor for this release.

The concluding episodes to this series is set for release on October 28th, 2014 in DVD/BD combo form for $44.98. The bilingual production comes with two episode length commentary tracks, an In Memoriam look back, two interview sessions, a video commentary for episode nine and a farewell to the series featurette.

Plot concept: The rogue vampire Alucard is the Hellsing Organization’s deadliest instrument in its mission to protect the British Empire from satanic ghouls and Nazi freaks. He is not alone in his assault on the occult; the master has a servant. Policewoman Seras Victoria accepted Alucard’s gift of dark salvation after falling in the line of duty, and now the remnants of her human soul struggle against her growing vampire urges. Together, they haunt the shadows as a sinister force of good – and tonight the foggy streets of England shall flow with the blood of their evil prey.
