Warner Bros. continues to bring out some small clips and teases for their upcoming new animated feature with Batman: Assault on Arkham. The feature didn’t get as much attention during SDCC as some might have thought since it ties into the game and provides something new and fresh for the audience. The new forty-five second piece shows us The Wall giving the rank and file an understanding of their situation and how it can work to their advantage – and/or death.
The feature is directed by Jay Oliva and Ethan Spaulding based on the game series of the same name. The feature, which gives us some time with the Suicide Squad, brings Ken Conroy back to voice Batman whie Troy Baker is on as The Joker. Jay Oliva is set to direct it. Batman: Assault on Arkham will be available on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD on August 12th, 2014.
Plot concept: Amanda Waller forms the Suicide Squad where their mission is to break into Arkham Asylum and recover top secret information from Riddler. Suicide Squad member Harley Quinn ends up freeing Joker who makes plans to blow up Arkham Asylum and Gotham City causing Batman to spring into action.
