The Anime Network has worked with Sentai Filmworks to get another of their summer 2014 anime series brought to a wider audience as Glasslip is now streaming on Hulu. The first episode has gone live on the service in its original Japanese language with English subtitles and those with a Hulu Plus subscription can watch this show on theirTV and mobile devices. Based on the original story by Kazemichi, the series is directed by Junji Nishimura with Taefumi Anzai serving as the sub director. The series composition is handled by Nishimura along with Rika Sato while Miki Takeshita is handling both character design and serving as the chief animation director. ChouCho is performing the opening theme song while RIPE is handling the end song.
The series stars Seria Fukagawa as Touko Fukami , Saori Hayami as Yanagi Takayama, Risa Taneda as Sachi Nagamiya, Ryota Ohsaka as Kakeru Okikura, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yukinari Imi, Daiki Yamashita as Hiro Shirosaki, Nao Toyama as Hina Fumaki and Ai Kayano as Momo Shirosaki.
Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series domestically.
Plot concept: With their final year of high school underway, small-town girl Toko Fukami and her friends are about to be thrown into the real world. Where most graduates are ready to leave their lives behind and blaze their own trails, Toko has always had just one dream: to take over her family-run glassmaking business. But the arrival of unusual transfer student Kakeru Okikura shatters Toko’s formerly rose-colored life, when he begins to claim that he can hear a voice that predicts the future.
